So what originally was a 4-song EP has now become a mini-album of sorts. I originally had two different releases I wanted to put out in tandem with the one-off singles I've been doing. One was an instrumental beat tape similar to the ones I dropped last year. I decided to hold off on that cause I wanted to focus on the Violet Spots songs. The other release was an EP of noisier electronic tracks. Unfortunately, it was scrapped after a glitch in my DAW corrupted most of the files. 

With the couple of tracks I was able to pick back up, I decided to mash all three release ideas together as a compilation of sorts. I also plan on working with a friend of mine this summer to put it on physical cassettes. I personally enjoy physical media over streaming services because I prefer to listen to full projects rather than the modern playlist method of throwing everything in a set and hitting shuffle. A lot of the songs on here I wrote on my walks in parks, and being able to listen to them together on my walks would be a nice full circle for me. 

I guess this is my announcement post. I have 8 songs currently in the tracklist.

I plan on making more songwriting posts similar to the ones on Red Moon & Lightning Bugs. Excited to get them jons out into the world for the flounderverse and greater public to hear.
