# °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ What I did this Summer ˚⋆𓇼˚⊹ 𖦹 ## 4th of July During the first half of the holiday, I was at work. I didn't really have plans to celebrate. It seems like the political landscape of the US is becoming more and more absurd to even want to revel in. I also just don't like loud environments mixed with smoke all in my face, two things that fireworks create. I was going to just stay home until @gooman invited me to go to the Webster Carnival with a couple of friends. I had been to the carnival before, but I figured it would be fun to go again with different people. The first ride we did was a Moby Dick Spinning Ride. Each time it would go up, me and Luckas would go "TURN IT OFF!" and scream. We did a couple of other rides until stopping for water and Ice Cream so we could all regroup. Luckas wanted to do the Drop Tower so that he could conquer his fear of more scary coaster rides. I hate drop towers because I don't like the feeling of not knowing when you will go down, but I still went on so that my friend felt safe on the ride. We ended up doing it twice. Cosi and her friend, Grace, won two Banana-Monkey Plushies at this balloon pop game before the carnival closed. The worker kept referring to them as Bananini Chimpanzini, which I found out was an AI brainrot thing. Crazy world we are living in. Later in the evening, we went to a parking lot to do some small fireworks. Cosi offered me some earplugs so that I didn't feel as overstimulated. They did work, and it was fun seeing all of the fireworks blow up and make pretty colors. I look at the holiday as less a way to celebrate this dumpster fire, and more of an excuse to get to hang with some awesome freakin folks! :) Until the next one, 23 SKIDOO
